SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Dr Chan is a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist and Partner at Eye Surgeons @ Novena and Napier, a multi-subspecialty private ophthalmic practice in Singapore. Earlier in her career, Dr Chan spent more than two decades in the public healthcare sector in Singapore and was the former Head, Refractive Surgery Service, Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC). Currently, she continues in the public service as a Visiting Senior Consultant at SNEC.
Dr Chan’s subspecialty and research interests are in cataract, cornea and refractive surgery. She has published many articles in international peer-reviewed journals and has received international awards including the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Distinguished Service Award in 2014.
