SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Kwang-Wei Tham is a Senior Consultant Endocrinologist from Singapore who completed her Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the Cleveland Clinic, USA.
She is the current President of the Singapore Association for the Study of Obesity (SASO), the Secretary of the Asia- Oceania Association for the Study of Obesity (AOASO), and the Co-Chair of the Integrated Health Committee, IFSO-APC.
She was based at the Department of Endocrinology at the Singapore General Hospital from 2005 – 2019 with main interests in clinical interventions in obesity management and the medical outcomes and complications related to bariatric surgery in Singapore.

Thanks Dr Tham. Glad to hear from you again. Totally agreed and sold on what you shared. Hope that my GP colleagues will see the obesity problem as much a pandemic as Covid. Or worse.
