SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Dr Ng Wei Yan is an Associate Consultant Ophthalmologist at Singapore National Eye Centre and a paediatric ophthalmology fellow. He is a core member of the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation department in Singapore Eye Research Institute. His vision is to harness cutting edge digital technology to transform the healthcare system, bridging the divide between digital simulation and clinical implementation. He is currently actively involved in several key areas of digital research that could be the next frontier in digital healthcare, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain and natural language processing, with the intention to achieve eventual implementation.
