Graves' disease and Covid 19 vaccine
Hi, I have Graves' disease and my last tests were done in June.
The TSH is 0.014; T3 is 3.29; T4 is 0.92; antibodies to TSH receptors are 20, 74.
I wonder if getting the Covid 19 vaccine can make my disease worse.
Since it is an autoimmune disease and the values change continuously and the antibodies to TSH receptors are always very high, my doubt is whether the vaccine, by stimulating the immune system, could have negative repercussions on the disease.
I also have exophthalmos and I would like to ask if the vaccine can make exophthalmos worse.
Finally I take Tapazole (methimazole) which is an immunosuppressant. Could this be a risk factor for any contraindications to the Covid 19 vaccine?
