Hello, I'm a 32 year old male who has Ulcerative Colitis. I used to love anal play, but now I'm afraid that I probably can't do that anymore.
My large intestine has been removed, but I still have some rectum left. They left it in hope of doing a reversal one day. I have a hole in my small intestine that I use an Ostomy bag for. Now, I'm too afraid to even go back there to my anus, but my sexual drive is always so strong that I want to be able to do anal things again. I can't even open my anus easily and I know it's probably going to end bad if I do anything back there.
Please help, I'm extremely depressed. This disease has ruined by happiness and my life. Please, notify me if it could be okay to do anything back there again. Thanks.

Difficult to answer this. If you have had UC and a total colectomy ( total removal of your colon) you may have a small stump of rectum left. Please ask your surgeon about your concerns. I would suggest not to do anal play because the ilum connected to the residual anal stump may not be able to exposure to damages from anal play as well as a normal rectum does. Sorry to hear your issues, pleasee do sound out to your surgeon about itÂ
