Is doxycycline safe to be taken in the long run as it has side effects like increased sensitivity to the sun?
https://www.drugs.com/mednotes/#/profile/934428/drug
The above link shows my medication list and I am concerned about the potential drug interactions where doxycycline can interact with promethazine, dextromorpthan, prochlorperazine, famotidine, naproxen, fexofenadine and Loratadine. I would like to know the latest treatment for cystic acne and folliculitis with the least side effects and sleepiness like Chlorpheniramine for hives/urticaria. I also have a history of operation for hernia, colour vision deficiency, myopia and astigmatism and would like to know what are the remedies or lifestyle habits to adopt to treat such issues/conditions? Do I have to avoid the sun and/or driving? What food/medications do I have to be cautious of when I am on these drugs? I am also taking Blackmores Omega 3 fish oil 1000 odourless, blueberry vision from Holland and Barrett and Blackmores Health Supplement buffered C slow release purchased from Guardian.
