Is internal vagina rugae (corrugate texture) on the canal/surfaces normal?
If I'm not wrong, pherhaps I was too woried that i couldn't remember, I don't remember having it ever since till last night. Unsure if it was the new condom and lubricant last night causes it or something else. I had been searching on the internet but to no avail. Only stating vagina rugae is actually normal but been 23 years, only then now this texture formed. Am i supposed to be worried?

Hi Ann! Yes, vaginal rugae (or otherwise known as rugosity) is normal for young women. This physical state of the vagina coincides with the reproductive years of the woman (hence not present before puberty and is lost / reduced after menopause). There is nothing to worry about if you feel these "ridges" along the inside of the vagina. However, if you do encounter any form of discomfort, discharge, bad odour or any significant changes after exposure to new lubricants, you might wish to get it looked at by a gynaecologist.

Thank you for taking time to reply.
Gave me a sense of closure and much relief.
@Ann
Will it last throughout till the end of reproductive years? As such, menopause.

The rugae will gradually thin out after menopause, due to the decline in estrogen level, although they may not totally disappear.
