Laser for treating face lines and eyebags
Hi all,

I want to know more about treating nasolabial folds and eyebag using lasers. so far, what I know is:
  • ablative vs non ablative laser
  • CO2, erbium, fractional laser
  • for asians, erbium laser is better since asians' skin is more susceptible to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and other injuries from CO2 lasers
  • CO2 laser only takes 1 session and you'll need to wear bandage for days after the procedure
  • erbium is gentler to the skin but takes multiple sessions
my questions:
  1. So, are all lasers equal to treat facelines and eyebag?
  2. is ablative better than non ablative?
  3. what is more recommended for asian skin? erbium or CO2 or fractional? or other type of laser?
  4. once we know which laser is most suitable, what do we need to know when shopping for the service provider? like if they own vs rent the laser equipment, etc?
