post scleroembolization symptoms
good evening,
I am a 27 year old boy, 10 days ago I was operated on to resolve a very symptomatic 4th degree left varicocele (pain, heat and burning in the affected area).

Doctors confirmed the successful outcome of scleroembolization.

I spent a week of total rest and after starting to walk again (for 2 days) I notice that the veins are less swollen, but after walking even for a short time the area still overheats.
Is this normal for a successful surgery

It is common to feel some residual discomfort so soon after treatment. I would suggest giving it 4-6 weeks for adequate healing before determining treatment success.
