Temporal arteries swelling when it is hot
Hello!
I am a 30 year old normal weight man. I suffer from epilepsy (i take Zonegran and Vimpat). Other than that, I believe I am in good health, except for mild leukopenia and neutropenia.
In some situations, the arteries on the sides of my forehead swell a lot and throb, thus becoming very noticeable and unsightly. This happens when I feel very hot (eg, when I stay with the sun on my face for a long time), but also after workout or great stress. What could that be? What kind of specialist should I consult for further inquiry?
Thanks!
