Will swollen finger tip heal on its own?
I’ve a swollen index finger tip.
It’s probably due to the loose skin that I’ve torn off the side of the nail days ago. Swelling started 2 days ago and it’s gotten worse. It looks red, skin tight from the swell and feel hot to touch. And the pain kept me awake last night. Will this heal on its own?

Sorry to hear about your finger. It does sound bothersome.
I would advise that you see a doctor to exclude infection in view of the symptoms you mentioned.
