I have pretty bad reflux and was diagnosed when I went to the dentist and was told it was giving me cavities (at the time, I thought the symptoms were normal for everyone). I have now been taking it for over 3 years because when I try to get off of it, the symptoms get bad and typically lead to me not being able to sleep so I have to keep on taking it. I have always been prone to overheating for whatever reason, but I have begun to notice that it has gotten significantly worse. I looked it up and discovered that omeprazole can cause low-magnesium levels, and vitamin B12 deficiency and that the symptoms of those combined with being in a not setting would either make it easier to overheat or cause symptoms that appear like overheating. I would like to know so that I have an explanation as to why I am so intolerant to the heat and would also like to know if there is anything that could improve my symptoms. It is starting to impede on my day to day life.
