Should I get vaccinated? - I am suffering from chronic illness and palpitations
Hi Doctors, I hope someone can shed some light on my situation. I am in my mid 30s, an existing sufferer of ankolysing spondylitis, and have GAD. My heart always pumps faster than most people, ranging to about 90-100 beats per minute. Initially, i was waiting for novavax since there's less adverse reports being reported on heart inflammation, but as the number of unlinked cases rise rapidly lately, I am having second thoughts. I am afraid that most doctors will give me the standard model answer - you can get vaccinated, the benefits outweigh the risks etc.. What I really hope is that someone can explain if the mrna vaccine will cause my dna (AS) to deteriorate faster, and whether being constantly on the edge of having rapid heartbeats will mean that i might get heart inflammation easier compared to others . I saw reports of people dying after the vaccines online and i am afraid something similar may happen to me
